October 2011 Meeting Summary

Attendance:  15 members

Treasurer's report accepted as read

President/VP Report:  This is our last ride meeting.  Next month's meeting will be at the Stroudwater Christian Church.  Tiffany will send out a reminder to the church.

LOS Rep:  Betsy not present.  The Strides Walk is on 10/16/11.  The walk starts at 11 a.m..  Betty and Carolyn will be at the park on Maine Street in Brunswick at 10 a.m.

STAR Vet Rep:  Don, Robyn and Clyde delivered the canes to the Veterans Home on Saturday, Sept 25th.

STAR Membership:  Ginny will carry Chapter 150 pamphlets and International pamphlets in her bike.  They are almost out of Chapter 150 pamphlets and will work with Dave N. on getting more pamphlets.  Brian has ordered Maine State Ambassador business cards with the website info for all three STAR chapters in Maine. 

Road Captain:  Watch out for animals - they are on the move.  Make sure to point out any road kill.  Watch out for sand on corners / wash outs.
